Lydia + Brian :: Berkshire Wedding :: Part II

Here it is… Part 2 of Lydia and Brian’s Berkshire Botanical Garden Wedding in Massachusetts! Needless to say that these guys were a so much fun (if you haven’t checked out the first part of their day, I’d check it out here)!  They did a great job of incorporating elements of who they are within their wedding… hula hoops for the guests to play with during cocktail hour, flowers all around (it is a botanical garden!!), a beautiful herb garden to play in, and a crayon covered cake to top it off! And as a surprise to everyone, almost even to themselves… Lydia and Brian left 2 weeks after their wedding to live and work in Japan for at least a year, so their guest book was actually a huge map and an address book so they can keep in touch with everyone while they’re abroad!

Thank you Lydia and Brian for having Chris, Jeremy and I be a part of your special day.  We hope you’re enjoying Japan!

ENJOY!!

Lydia + Brian :: Berkshire Wedding :: Part I

OK. So I know I’ve been EXTREMELY slacking on posting, but it’s been quite a crazy season and as these posts start flowing you’ll soon see why…

I absolutely love my clients and the time I spend with them before their wedding getting to know each other during conversations and most importantly during our engagement shoot.  It makes SUCH a big difference when we’re there all day for your wedding and makes portrait time go by SO super fast too. Especially if your friends and family have already experienced the work we’ve done together when you share your engagement photos with them.

AND then there’s the other half of my clients that book me 2 weeks before their wedding (like Lydia and Brian)!!! I can’t believe I even had the day still available, lucky us! Hardly enough time to say hello, but I love the excitement of barely knowing what’s to come. It’s crazy to build a trusting relationship with your photographer two weeks before your wedding, but when you have a couple like Lydia and Brian, sometimes it just works.

So, with that being said… here’s Lydia and Brian’s Berkshire Botanical Garden Wedding in Massachusetts. We were honored to be there and had SO much fun! Thank you Lydia and Brian! Please put me in a beautiful herb garden any day and I’d never complain!

Enjoy Part 1, check back soon for part 2!!

New Wedding Photography Registry

Since most of our couples would love beautiful artwork and albums from their wedding rather than a kitchen aid mixer, we’ve set up a Wedding Photography Registry! Just link your friends and family to the registry gallery on the JAGstudios site or click here.

Most people find it difficult to choose a wedding gift for a couple. Worrying about things like whether the couple will like it, is it nice enough, do they need it, can it be exchanged and similar things can make the shopping expedition quite tiresome. You can make things easier for your guests by sending them to our wedding registry.

We can create beautiful artwork for your new home.

Our registry allows for gifts of various amounts to suit all price ranges.

It’s something you will enjoy and actually use and so will your kids and your kids kids and so on.

You can purchase gift certificates at any time and we never run out of amazing artwork or beautiful images to create, so guests will be not annoyed if they try to buy something at the last minute and nothing’s left!

Seriously, does anyone even get china these days?  Or even a china cabinet to hold the china?  Besides, if you ever need china, chances are that someone you know has a set they never use that you can borrow.

Registering online is convenient, but not for older guests who don’t know how to use that dang Internet thang, so we’ll make you some cute cards to send out in your invitations and let your guests to hook you up with the most beautiful images of your life!

CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF!

Tiffany - What a great idea for a lasting and personal gift!

Ann Nyberg :: Connecticut Portrait Photography

We really had a great time with CT’s favorite television news anchor and reporter, Ann Nyberg for her new blog Annie Mame!! We shot at a great vintage diner called Georgie’s Diner in West Haven, CT. The whole shoot was amazing, with Ann’s vintage cardigans and hand crafted accessories! The diner had so much charm and antiquity – it was just like an old train car diner from the 50’s! It was great to see Ann transform from the demure homemaker in cardigans and pearls to a fun night out with the girls in her sequined mini and jewels.

Thanks Ann! ENJOY!
