How could I possibly describe how much fun I had hanging out with The Brandt Family?
We had the most beautiful day, played around outside and then went in for some ice cream in the evening. Not just any ice cream either… cookie monster ice cream!!! Yup, blue ice cream with cookie dough in it, little Mikey’s favorite, as I am sure you will be able to tell! Even their golden retriever, Chili was in on the fun!
Thank you Mike, Kris and kids, it was such a pleasure hanging out with you guys, I can’t wait to do it again!
November 19, 2009 - 2:10 amrobert norman - GREAT job with these--so much fun! The kids are adorable and that shot of the dog running is cool!
November 19, 2009 - 9:04 amBeyond The Lens - Very cool stuff Jackie. I love how you can take something so simple and make memories for a family!
November 20, 2009 - 1:04 amKris Brandt - Jackie- We are sooooo thrilled with the entire shoot. From the second you stepped out of your car, you connected with all of us (Chili included!) and it truly shows in the photos. You deftly captured the essence of our family. I will treasure these photos forever. You're AWESOME!
December 22, 2009 - 9:48 amAlex Workman - Great shots! I really like the ones inside the house. They are unique. Keep up the great work!
January 10, 2010 - 7:03 pmJulia - You did a great job capturing a fun family shoot. Just about every picture is all smiles.
ooooo… fun! A secret shoot!!! I’m excited to share… but… for now, just a teaser…
of a certain red head who’s graced this blog recently… quite recently!!
Jen and Bobby… where do I begin? Let’s see… The ceremony was in one of the most amazing Basilicas I have ever been in… and that’s considering I’ve lived in Italy for a year to study photography! (I definitely saw my fair share of Cathedrals and Basillicas!) Jen wore a polka dotted wedding dress and the girls were in red evening gowns. Bobby and the boys were all in Air Jordans. Everyone was filled with smiles and such great energy all day. Jen’s Niece and Nephew made the cutest flower girl and ring bearer ever, and their wedding party was such a great group of friends! Some of which you might remember, if you’ve been checking out our work for a few years. I first met Jen and Bobby and some of their friends at Danielle and Tom’s wedding… one of my first weddings ever!! Just a side note… D+T’s wedding is now being featured as a sample album for three printing companies in Germany and the US!! Woohoo! (Thanks Danielle and Tom!)
And… thanks Jen and Bobby! We love you guys and had an awesome time at your wedding!
As I’m processing Michelle and David’s wedding, I realized that I hadn’t yet posted their engagement shoot! How could I pass this one up! We had SUCH a great time together- on a perfect day in the sunshine, barefoot on the beach, drinking wine and dancing in the water! And then ending up at Heritage Trail Winery in Connecticut for night shots in the vineyard, more wine and a crazy kick-ass meal… Um… about that meal… Heritage Trail, not only makes great wine, but the owner, Harry, is an AMAZING chef… Ah-May-Zing!!! Seriously, this place is no-joke and Harry totally rocks (as does his family and everyone that works there!)
Michelle and David… YOU guys absolutely ROCK!!
Thank you for inviting me into your lives to create these images for you!
please enjoy the photos, their wedding is coming soon!
Kristen and Greg’s wedding was a blast! Their friends and family, especially the whole bridal party were so much fun! The dance floor was completely packed solid from the moment dinner was done ’til the night’s end!
Kristen thought of everything, even the cowboy hat and boots for the line dance. Since they’re such big football fans, it was fitting for the whole bridal party to start a game in the huge front yard of the Five Bridge Inn in Rehoboth, MA. Of course Chris and I were in on it too, just with cameras instead of the football!
You might remember some familiar faces at this wedding… Shaun and Brie were there - we shot their wedding in Syracuse, NY last year! Greg was one of the groomsmen, and Kristen a bridesmaid! Actually, most of the bridal party was at Shaun and Brie’s wedding too!
Thanks Kristen and Greg! We were honored to be there for you! Hope you love the photos! Enjoy!
November 4, 2009 - 5:07 pmErik Souza - I love the shots of all the ladies looking out the window, and the cowboy shoes are really cool! Beautifully captured!
What’s better to do in Jamaica than get married? How about trashing your dress the very next day! Chris and I thought we were meeting Jen and Matt for a day after shoot around Negril. But, they surprised us, all dressed up and looking beautiful - with the desire to go swimming. So I figured we’d just meet them when they were done. Um… they meant right then and there! Chris shot from the shore and stayed dry with our equipment, and I went swimming, good thing I had clothes on that would dry quickly for our shoot around town! Needless to say… we had a blast!
Thanks Jen and Matt for having us with you to capture the energy and emotion of the most amazing time in your lives.
We hope you love your images!
