When it came time to choose a venue, they wanted something rustic and woodsy. Wright’s Mill Farm in Canterbury, CT delivered everything they hoped for and more. The ceremony space sits beside a peaceful waterfall and the newly built barn created the perfect backdrop for their reception. It was the only venue they toured and it immediately felt like the right place.
The Wedding Day Details
With 8 bridesmaids, 8 groomsmen, and 130 guests, their celebration was full of energy. Sage and lilac tones paired beautifully with the natural greenery at Wright’s Mill Farm. Succulents, lush foliage, and touches of crystals reflected their vision, and roses honored Trish’s late father with a tender, meaningful tribute.

The day felt relaxed, playful, and completely them. Guests enjoyed a s’mores bar under the night sky, outdoor games like cornhole, and a barn filled with laughter, dancing, and unforgettable moments. It was rustic charm with personal storytelling at the heart of it all.
